Gaurav Goel VP Service- Integrated Subscriber Management Services Ltd. (subsidiary of Dish TV)

Gaurav Goel, Jawahar Goel's elder son, is the VP Service for the service arm of Dish TV. Born on April 10th, 1980, Gaurav is a graduate of Business Administration with specialization in finance and marketing. He is actively involved in ensuring constant upgrade of service to Dish TV subscriber , for the past two years. Having over seven years of rich work experience he has developed the ability to innovate business processes to fit the business needs.

Along with being an active member of Dish TV's core management team, Gaurav is currently spearheading the customer service center of Dish TV and is instrumental in upgrading Dish TV's service delivery. Being a customer oriented person he enjoys being able to transform customer experience by constantly innovating processes and inviting new ideas from all fronts. He is a team player and works closely with the call center team to ensure customer satisfaction.

His career started in year 2003 with the launch of a 24-hour religious channel called Zee Jagran. Working with a small team of self-motivated professionals from within the group he was able to launch the channel with almost zero capital. The channel still enjoys the highest effective rate from its advertisers because of the quality of content delivery. Gaurav was directly responsible for the distribution function for the channel and was an active participant in business administration as well.

While managing his responsibilities at Zee Jagran, Dish TV was in its initial stages. At the time Gaurav took on the added responsibly of product development and logistics. His job was to interact with the hardware vendors for product testing and development, Quality checks and order delivery.

From there he moved onto another group company, at the time called Siti Cable (now WWIL). And ventured into converting the Siti channel from a cable transmission to a satellite transmission ensuring consistency of content across all Siti connected networks. The project did not last too long due to funding issues.

At the same time the group was trying to make grounds for entering the sports industry. With aggressive bidding for sports events for Zee Sports to the launch of a new concept of Indian Cricket League was envisaged by our Chairman, Subhash Chandra. In line with the same thought it was decided to start a new venture of opening sports bars across the country. Gaurav was appointed head of the business. This gave him the opportunity to learn about the F&B industry and be in direct touch with the customers.
