A week long break

There was a weeklong break before the clash against Bagan and the team has come back to the head quarter in Mumbai. Coach Jamil stated, "This break has come at the right time for the team, the two results have taken a toll on the squad. Couple of key players are suffering with injury and our squad really needed a break."

"Mohun Bagan will be looking to make ground for their bad start. We have to be careful from their attack, be very tight at the back. Our strikers need to find the back of the net. We fumbled, quit a few chances which proved to be very costly. As always we will look at playing attacking football”, said the confident coach.

Loanee Shanjiban Ghosh

Mumbai FC loaned Souther Samity GK Sanjiban Ghosh for the season 2010-11. “He is a good goal keeper, a good young talent. We had him for trials just before the start of I-league during the MFL. We have high expectations of him. He will be our Third Goal Keeper” said the Mumbai FC Manager.

"This is the first time I will be playing for a club outside Kolkata and will be playing in the I-League. It's a great feeling and would like to take the opportunity to thank the Coach and the management for giving me this opportunity", said the exited Keeper.
